Welcome to Aozora’s Spring Break Camp, where students will explore the world of Japanese traditional arts and culture! The children will be immersed in the beauty and tradition of Japan, engaging in a variety of hands-on activities that promise to spark creativity and cultural curiosity. We offer a well-rounded and engaging experience that blends education, creativity, and the joy of exploration. All the activities will be held in Japanese. Thus, attending students must be able to understand Japanese instruction.

Some Examples of Activity:

• Craft a one of a kind original tea cup using clay

• Design an intricate diorama of a miniature Japanese garden

• Explore the art of fabric making through vegetable dyeing 

• Create hanga type print art

ようこそ、あおぞらの春休みキャンプへ。このキャンプでは、日本の伝統的な芸術と文化の世界を探索します！子どもたちは日本の美しさと伝統に浸り、創造性と文化への好奇心をかきたてるさまざまなな活動を行います。このキャンプを通して、教育、創造性、探求の喜びを融合した、たくさんのワクワク体験を子ども達に提供したいと考えています。全てのアクティビティは日本語で行われますので、教室内での日本語の指示や会話が理解できることが参加の条件となります。たくさんのご参加お待ちしております！

活動の一部例：

• オリジナルのお茶碗を粘土を使用して作成する

• ジオラマを使ったミニチュアの日本庭園をデザインする

• 野菜染めを通じて布作りの芸術を探索する

• 版画プリントアートを作成する

For the year 2019–2021 born children

Any children who are able to understand Japanese instruction are welcome. Children who are not currently enrolled in Aozora preschool are also welcome to attend the camp.
