Camp Located at 535 Clinton Ave
Join us for the Aozora's School Year Day Camps! Children will be immersed in Japanese culture and language during the camp as the program is held in Japanese and all of the day-camp themes are specifically selected to deepen the children’s connection and understanding of Japan and Japanese culture. The program is for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade who are able to understand Japanese instruction. Children will also enjoy freshly prepared lunch served for the camp.
The camp runs on September 25, November 7, March 29, and April 10.
あおぞらスクールイヤー・デイキャンプへのご案内！あおぞらデイキャンプでは、子どもたちが奥深い日本文化に触れ、日本へのつながりを感じてくれるような題材を選びました。クラスは完全に日本語で行われますので、子どもたちは日本語にどっぷり浸かり日本語を練習をすることができます。対象はキンダーから5年生までの、日本語の会話が理解できる子どもに限ります。ほかほかで美味しい給食もついてきます。
デイキャンプは、9月25日・11月7日・3月29日・4月10日に開催予定です。

お月見お料理キャンプ
For the year 2012 TO 2018 born children
Tsukimi (月見） refers to the Japanese tradition of holding parties to view the harvest moon. It is a celebration of the beauty of the mid-autumn moon, often referred to as "Chusyu no Meigetsu" (中秋の名月). this year, the actual full moon will be on September 29. Aozora Day Camp on September 25 will be all about Tsukimi, and children will learn about the centuries-old tradition of Tsukimi and moon-viewing. Children will enjoy hands-on activities of cooking delicious Japanese dishes for Tsukimi such as Kenchin Soup and Moon Dumplings.
「お月見」は収穫の月を楽しむ日本の伝統行事です。「中秋の名月」と呼ばれる秋の夜空に浮かぶ美しい満月は、今年、9月29日にみられる予定です。 9月25日開催のあおぞらのスクールイヤー・デイキャンプは、子どもたちは、日本で古くから伝わるそのお月見文化について学びます。けんちん汁や月見団子を作りを楽しみます。
